LAMINATION ADHESIVESThere are several ways to classify lamination adhesives, one of these is by its application and drying, which is called “Dry Lamination”. Another way is known as “Wet Lamination”. In dry lamination, the adhesive is applied to a substrate, dried in order to evaporate the water or solvent, and then it joins a system of rollers commonly known as “Calandra” or “Nip”. After that, it is coiled. In wet lamination, the adhesive is applied to the substrate, joined with the second substrate, and then passed through the drying system in order to be coiled.
